Our Children

Students at Pukete School are organised into teams.

Teams are constituted by teachers from different academic fields who bring a variety of perspectives to the subject under consideration. We believe the important ingredient in successful team teaching is planning, so that each teacher knows their responsibilities and guide our students through the learning process. The advantage to teachers is the opportunity to work with someone else who has complementary knowledge and skills and can act as a sounding board or mentor.

Team teaching, sometimes known as collaborative teaching, is a great opportunity to share expertise as well as having real benefits to all involved i.e. the teachers and their students.
